Its a bright sunny morning and Nandini is sipping a cup of tea in her verandah and thinking of those initial days in Delhi when she came back from US to get married to a guy of her family's choice.Its not that she doesn't have boyfriend but things didn't work out between then and she moved on with life.Nandini's life was super exciting with lots of things happening around.She had lots of friends and was happily busy most of the time.She was a very bubbly,fun loving and clear hearted girl who loved life to the core.
This was an unusual morning where she had no much work to do so few old memories came afresh watching T.V after a long time.She was full time designer and worked round the clock.So while watch a news channel she came across a news about of her best friend who lost touch with her due to work and time constraints.Though they were friends in facebook but hardly them came online and shared their thoughts.
But that was not the case when they were growing in early days in 2006.Every single post and pictures of Tonmoy's was commented by Nandini.
Tonmoy was a global guy ,used to work as financial analyst but had no clue about his own finances.He was more of a creative guy and was trying to survive by earning good in this financial sector.These two people had no reason on this earth to meet but as it is said "Jab jab jo jo hona hai ,Tab tab woh hota hai ".And here they were as best of friends.Actually there common interest brought them together and then started the best phase of their lives.Both were avid Art lover and Tonmoy went a bit far as he was into dramatics and photography.So on one occasion there was a exhibition of Art collection in India Habitat Centre these two people bumped upon.Actually both of them came to visit the exhibition separately but while writing comments on the visitors book Nandini asked for pen from Tonmoy as he was just about to finish writing the comments in the guestbook.So when Tonmoy stood and offered his pen to Nandini something happened and they exchanged glances and smiled.After that while coming out it was Nandini who introduced herself to Tonmoy and both of them had a cup of coffee and their friendship started.
Its has been a long journey of two individuals since then and lot of things happened in between that made them apart from each other and friendship somewhere lost in between.But now when Nandini is expecting her first child and she is getting time for herself to sit ad look back she cherishes those small but eventful and enjoyable moments.
It was a typical Sunday afternoon in month of December and weather of Delhi was very romantic and there was something in air that was special,Nandini was out with her friends and she was enjoying her winter afternoon when suddenly she got a message from Tanmoy and she jumped out of joy in middle of Connaught Place and her friends were surprised to see Nandini in such a cheerful state and they enquired her about the reason and she updated everyone that Tanmoy will be joining them in next 45 mins ,these two people were meeting after a gap of 7 days but none of Nandini's friends could understand why on earth is she so excited,one of her friend even said to the next in a hush hush tone are they seeing each other and the other one said maybe who knows.Anyways Tonmoy came after 45 mins or so and everyone meet him and Nandini asked all her other friends if she could carry on with Tonmoy as he specially came to meet her and she too needed to talk to him as there were lot of things to talk about .
After that they took an auto and left for IHC and on the way Nandini discussed her love life with him and wanted to know his opinion about Rohan the current boyfriend of hers.Rohan and Tonmoy knew each other but not that well .They had meet few times earlier and had discussed Nandini before too and she knew that .
The problem with Nandini was that her mind was always fluctuating .She was a restless soul.She was the youngest of two sisters and was a traveller sorts.Tonmoy on the other hand was an emotional guy .He wanted to protect her by any means.He knew Nandini very well and could understand her unspoken words and emotions.Nandini was from a middle class background and her father was a Documentary Filmmaker with Doordarshan in Mandi House and mother was a house wife.She was a dreamer and was very good in academics and due to that she got a chance to study in UK.
Anyways while they were on there way to IHC ,Nandini expressed her confusion to him and wanted to know the way out of this confusion.Though she loved Rohan a lot but somehow he was not able to understand the fluctuating nature of Nandini.He (Rohan) was from a Punjabi family and lived life to the fullest .He was a fun loving guy and enjoyed every moment of life.Deep down he was a child who lacked emotional bonding.This irritated Nandini to the core.Though both of them knew each other from begining and loved to hangout regularly but something was a miss.Everything was perfect but that magic spark was missing in between them.
